well its Monday once again...blah! This weekend flew by faster than any others...probably because there is a good possibility that b will be working 7 days a wk for the next few weeks so we had to get our time in together...Fingers crossed that they work their work around to not make everyone come in every weekend...our luck they probably wont!
so i think i'll write a post of randoms, which as you can tell I love to do...mainly my life is so non eventful and boring that I don't have much to say in postings so i'll pile them together!
I was eating an ice pop and now the roof of my mouth hurts and is raw...idk why it always does that...
went fishing this weekend with b...if i threw out a line i would get a nibble...if he threw out one he only got a bite if i was standing next to him...im his good luck charm!
had a concert this weekend, bart crow band, was front row and got his signature afterwards....now i just need josh abbott and randy rogers and my collection will be complete!
had a weird dream that i was doing something hat would make b mad and i dreamed that he could see my dreams as well and i thought he would be mad that i dreamed about it....im messed up!
wore my hair down for the first time in a long time...didnt realize how long its getting...heck ya! but every time b puts his arm around my neck i get caught...
my sunburn from memorial day is peeling..yuck!
b was right about something this weekend..and i made the mistake of telling him he was right...rookie mistake!
i made some bomb ass biscuits and gravy Sunday night for dinner!
i plan on starting a puzzle this week since b is on evenings...nerd i know
me and des have decided to start p90x today...should last all of about 3 days knowing us!
summer school started friday...this should be my last summer class evvvveeeerrrr!!! cant wait to have my MBA!

Run and hide your crazy, & start actin like a lady!
Ok so one of my favorite songs at the moment is called " Mama's broken heart". Here is a clip of it:
Love the song and love the meaning behind it! More or less it says either act with class or be a crazy bitch. Now as we all know every woman can get straight up crazy! No denying...own it! But my bigger issue is that we don't have enough women wanting to be ladies... Let me clarify...when I say lady I don't mean "Go to the kitchen and cook me dinner!" kinda women...its not the 1950s...but what I mean is lets have a little pride in the fact that we are indeed ladies!
Coming from a small town, everyone knows everything and if they don't I can bet ya they will find out in 20 mins or less. We know good news travels fast, but bad news travels like a wild fire in the middle of July! Human nature is to want to know everyones business and then to have an opinion on it..Im extremely guilty of this...my theory is im smart than you and will tell you how to feel and what to do (that's how it works right?!?) well with this fast spreading drama everybody goes off of what so and so said instead of the source...and even the sources can be tainted bc there are always 2 sides to every story dears! If you didn't see it, hear it or touch it yourself then only believe about half of it! and then always judge what source your hearing it from!
but anyways...women have stopped being ladies! We run our mouths, get in fist fights, wear skanky clothes, pierce our bodies, get tattoos,cuss, sleep with any guy that we think we love (or not love for that matter) and we don't care... and let me be the first to say I have done it all!! I'm not above anyone here! but at the end of the day i personally don't think its right...
Now I'm going to go to a man's view for this part...my bf, b, has told me all about what most guys want in a girl...and no its not the same for every guy and relationship but I have heard this over and over many times so maybe it will help you out...idk maybe you think im an idiot by now...probably so!
1. Appearance is everything! How you feel about yourself shows by your expression of clothes, jewelry, hair, makeup etc... if you're wearing shorts that look like they are meant for a 12 yr old and your tits hanging out, then don't be upset that ppl stare...you are letting it all hangout for attention so you're getting it honey! If you look like you just got out of a 3 day binge with your hair everywhere and no makeup....then basically your saying idk what i look like and I will probably embarrass you at some point bc I won't look the part at important events. Feel comfortable with what you wear...own it and the world is yours!
2. Men want a lady in public and a slut in the sheets..not the other way around! Girls have this sad image in their minds that if they look a certain way and act a certain way that men will find you sexy...well ladies they do only when they are 3 sheets to the wind and you look easy...Guys truly dont wanna hear about all your nasty adventures in bed...ever heard of the saying "Don't kiss and tell"? Save it for girls night when your comparing dirty deeds...men wanna think that they are the great conquer that taught you everything so let him think that...and plus put yourself in his shoes...do you really wanna know all about what he did to his ex gf?!? if you answered hell no then guess what he dont either! Men dont express emotions very well but don't mean they don't have them!
3. Fighting... its never pretty...A lady fights with her words and mind...never her fists... I find this completely degrading if you will when women talk about fighting...now don't get me wrong sometimes the occasion calls for it but 9 times outta 10, it dont...besides what does it prove??! at the end you're both sore and now hate each other even more...no one wins...my bf has had his past of fighting and isn't afraid to stand up to someone about it and I have asked him before if that's a downfall of mine because I don't like conflict...he said no he prefers it...guys want someone that they can take care of and to know they are needed, not some mouthy, drama starting bar fly if you will....now im not saying to be a door mat and take constant bullying but if someone is staring at your man, take it as a compliment and move on...you starting drama only proves you care...
4. Tattoos and piercings...i have em and i love em...had my nose pierced for awhile...b told me he hated em but i did it anyways...thought i looked badass...let me tell nothing is badass about having a red, infected nose all the time...piercings in moderation are awesome but certain ones i find to be extreme...if you like them then more power to ya but a lot of ppl get them for a certain image...and you gotta think what that image is... if you have your nipples pierced and your man didnt ask for them then that screams slut! im sorry but thats my opinion... if you get stuff like that on your own and start showing them off to every new dude you met...guess what he knows he ain't the first and he won't be the last! Keep it tasteful! We wear clothes to hide those body parts...dont do something to them that makes you seem like you show it off all the time!
In conclusion, ladies lets class it up as a whole! Leave some to the imagination, I guarantee you will get more flies with honey than vinegar and you will get more guys being sweet than being a nasty ho!

Random Facts about me!!
Ok so I assume many ppl that stop by probably don't personally know my so I thought I would share some random ass facts...enjoy yall :)
1. Not a big fan of my name...I love elegant, older names like Jane, Scarlett, etc...
2. My granny was my hero...she died 1/6/2011 and i think of her each and every day
3. I wear my emotions on my face...I'm not good at hiding how I feel
4. I pretty honest about EVERYTHING...but not in the "I'm a bitch and I dont care" ways...if you wanna know what I think or feel i'll tell ya...i'm generally a nice person (unless at a concert, then i get cranky)
5. To explain further, the only time I have gotten into fights has been at concerts (no not real fist fights) but an elbow or two...I'm a lady and I don't believe women should get into fist fights. Never been in one and don't plan on it...I find them slightly skanky..
6. Mountain dew is my favorite pop...ever
7. My hidden talent is finding 4 leaf clovers..i have found 7 in one day...b gets quite upset about it(jealous)
8. I love to dance..I go dancing quite a bit...I am quite good at it :)
9. I have a soft heart...I could cry right now just thinking about an animal getting hurt...grew up on a farm so putting animals on the trailer to go to the slaughter breaks my heart!! Ppl don't realize they can be pets too...im getting teary eyed just thinkin about it!!
10. The mummy, Titanic, and Dirty Dancing are my all time favorite movies...i know every line! pathetic yes!
11. 11 is my lucky number :)
12. I'm very real about my body...I know I'm pasty white, flat chested, I have creepy skeleton hand, big nose, huge feet, but i also know I have beautiful eyes, perfect teeth (no braces!), super long legs, porcelain skin, great body....i know these things and i love them all!!!
13. I have met Gary Allan and talked to him some...no comment about the rest...
14. I am EXTREMELY trusting! I assume ppl have the best intentions and it has gotten me burned quite often...
15. my favorite person to stalk would be myself...i am vain...but look at me...who wouldn't be ;)
16. Scary movies are my favorite type of movie! I love a good twist! Screw rom-coms!
17. I've had the same phone number ever since I got my phone
18. I drink milk when I'm sick
19. I had knee surgery when I was in 5th grade...i tripped over a dog....can't make that shit up
20. I don't hold onto grudges...no point in them...i just wanna get along with everyone...i may not like ya but no need for the pointless drama
21. Compulsive liars have no room in my life...dont deal with em if i can help it...unless i can get them telling me a wild story...i love playing into them acting like im interested just to hear the BS come outta their mouths...cool story bro

Craptasitic day!!
Let the bitch fest begin!! First of all I have to fair warn all I am PMSing so everything is just that much more horrible!! Anddd I'm slightly dramatic so what i make a big deal of right now is probably nothing but petty problems but thats me!
so first of all lets just clear the air that i HATE mornings and i have not wanted to wake up in the mornings at all!! I come to work and my bf, Brandon (i refer to him as B to be faster and to the point!) has had some fraud activity to his credit and so i am trying to help him sort thru it and get it straightened out...has anyone had to deal with these ppl?! pain in the asses!!! its like pulling teeth to get a straight answer and you gotta hunt them down to get any sorta answers....very overwhelming!! so thats been my morning fun...
today at lunch b calls and tells me that he might have to work 7 days a wk for his job all thru june...normally i would be thrilled because who doesnt need the extra money and break from their man :D BUT we have a vacation planned with my parents in the middle of june!!!! im soo upset that i wanna cry like a baby! in april we had a concert that i had tickets for since like Jan and its a band we both love...we worked days all month except that week!! i had to miss the concert...so this is like deja vu....nothing is set in stone but i have a feeling it wont fall in my favor...we have already boguht tickets to somethings that are nonrefundable! my luck!!!! plus last night after dinner his starter goes out so him, my dad, uncle and aunt get it started and we have to take it to the shop...when it rains, it pours!
then on top of all of that like i said im pmsing and i could strangle the crap outta any poor soul! i just wanna sit in a bubble bath while b waits on me hand and foot then gives me a foot massage!
plus let me get on this rant! ok if you see someone on the phone what do you do??!?! if you said "I stand around staring at them until they interupt what they are doing to help answer my stupid question" then you my friend are an asshole!! it is one of the rudest things anyone can do?! with my job i know a lot of personal info about my employees so i cant just sit here being chatty kathy with someone with your rude ass staring!! ugh...if public bitch slapping was acceptable....
well enough with that fun....hope yalls day is a heck of a lot better than mine!! laters loves! xoxo whit

Where have you been?!
Hey yall! So totally my bad because I haven't been on here in a loooong time (does anyone really care or notice??) but ever since I got Facebook back my time has been occupied with it i reckon lol!
so let me catch you up to speed...next week is rocklahoma...me and my bf have been obsessing about this since about jan...it would be funnier if it wasn't true... he has been going to the gym non stop and we were tanning daily...of course being the albino that I am my slight change in color wasn't worth the time and effort I put into it..so I have stopped...and tight wad brandon didn't want to pay for his anymore so he has stopped as well...but of course with his beautiful skin he can be tan after 20 mins in the sun...
I have been taking pics with friends and a local photographer for fun and to help promo Let's Makeup..I'll post some pics :)
Summer is upon us quickly so I can't wait to spend my time layin by the lake being lazy :)

Story Time: Death Trap Heels
When I was 19 I started working at a bank. As yall might know banks require employees to wear business casual things so I bought a bunch of new clothes and with that I bought these heels. I got them from Catos and was excited because I have a huge foot (size 11!) and they actually made my foot look smaller! If you lucky people with perfect size 7 shoes think that sounds crazy well maybe so but us clown feet people love it! So anyways they are brown, very comfy, and have sort of a striped wood look on the heel. Well I love to wear them during the summer time...so i believe it was summer of 2009 and I wore them to work on a slightly busy day. And let me explain...the bank I worked at was quite busy on Thursday and Fridays and heels aren't always the best idea...in the area that the tellers worked had commerical carpet and the area that we went to so we could run our checks had slick tile floor(you can see where this is headed) with a half door that separated the two. So around 4 we got a break and I hurried off to run my checks....i always took my phone so I could text while I ran them...
I started heading that way and when I stepped onto the tiles my right heel gave way and I skidded forward with my right foot, my left crossed underneath it leaving a foot and a half skid marks on the floor (and probably my pants!) I also had my phone in my right hand so I did this really cool softball pitch with it in the midst of it all so it slammed up against the door to alert everyone that someone just made an ass of themselves. I'm at least 7 different shades of red from embarrassment but I luckily never screamed due to the quickest and terror wrapped into one.
It's one of those moments that you quickly wanna get up and run and hide and pray to God that no one noticed and you don't have to die of embarrassment. I started heading that way and when I stepped onto the tiles my right heel gave way and I skidded forward with my right foot, my left crossed underneath it leaving a foot and a half skid marks on the floor (and probably my pants!) I also had my phone in my right hand so I did this really cool softball pitch with it in the midst of it all so it slammed up against the door to alert everyone that someone just made an ass of themselves. I'm at least 7 different shades of red from embarrassment but I luckily never screamed due to the quickest and terror wrapped into one.
It's one of those moments that you quickly wanna get up and run and hide and pray to God that no one noticed and you don't have to die of embarrassment. Let me start over by apologizing for not posting for a few days...do yall even care?? IDK?! Oh well :)
Here in Oklahoma it is already starting to get hot and muggy and so dresses, capris and heels for me here on out! Except my lazy days of course! (pretty frequent i know!) The bad deal is since I work in a manufactoring plant I have to wear closed toe shoes :/ Welcome to my hell! lol
My shirt and pants are from 599fashion...duh...the shirt is light pink with darker pink roses and lace on top and bottom. I really need to learn what the material is called that it's made of because everytime I try to talk about it I just babble making no sense...usual I know!
Pants are brown slacks and they are a GREAT bargain for only 5.99! Then I'm wearing my death trap heels...there is a story about that..should I tell it?! Perhaps I will in the next post!

Now that the rain has gone, it finally feels like spring! That means shorts, dresses and bikinis!! Bring on the self tanner!! Also I bleached my hair this weekend...still in the process of getting it where I want it so don't judge! lol

OOTD-3/20/2012--Rainy Day edition
It's raining, it's pouring, I sure wish I was snoring! If you're like me and had to get up and go to on this dreary day then let's bitch together! haha Actually I don't mind being at work when it's raining because when I worked at a bank that always meant that people tended to stay home! So we could all hangout and do nothing...that's always my favorite!! I only get pissy if I have to be at work when it snows! I love snow and wanna stay home to admire it...But anyways now that I have a grown up job I have the same amount of work rain or shine....boo...but since its been raining non stop here in the great state of Oklahoma (did you catch the sarcasm there?) for 2 days, its pretty much a nasty mess! Now in my town girls always made a fashion statement out of their rain boots and I was always like "OMG what losers, who wants to have decorated rain boots?!" well I guess this girl! Be careful what you criticize, am I right?! So last year for Rocklahoma (big 3 day rock fesitival in my hometown) it was a nasty, rainy mess then too and I bought these cheetah rain boots to wear...I don't typically go for cheetah...I've been a zebra girl for awhile but these were the cutest they had in my size :/ (size 11...clown feet, I know) So anywho, I have only worn them that once and I am sure I will wear them again for it...Rocklahoma is at the end of May which is always rainy, gross and then turns muggy as hell! Smart planning on their part, dontcha think?? But when I woke up this morning and heard it STILL pouring I thought that I better whip them out! Sooo we all know I LOVE wearing tights! So I got my black tights out with this over sized tshirt from 599fashion and took a cheetah waist belt to add some sorta shape to my body (no clue where i got the belt...Kohls maybe?!) then I have this black sweater that keeps me cozy...Brandon said it looks like a grandma sweater when I wear it...and I tell him to suck it...then I did a bitch bump or front bump whatever you would like to call it and a high bun with a cheetah bow on the side...I have a "Peace" double finger ring and little cheetah heart earrings and last but not least my cheetah rainboots!! sexy,huh huh?!?! pretty comfy and perfect to wear while running to and from work..plus I like to give my coworkers a fashion show daily...use to be my hair was changing so much that they always liked coming to work to guess what color it would be...even the CEO lol but since I have gone all natural I'll stick to wow-ing them with clothes...oh man i love my job :)

So sticking with the spring-y feeling, I have to say I am in LOVE with this shirt!! It is of couse another great buy from 599fashion (they should be paying me for all the positive reviews I give!) I bought it on my first purchase and loved it so much I bought another one in blue! It just screams Easter and spring dontcha think?? I recieved tons of compliments for it from men and women so I think that says a bunch. I paired it with some nice black slacks and a braid and side pony for an easy breezy outfit.

March Glam Bag!!!
It's heeeeerrrrreeee!!!! My March Glam bag did not disappoint! If you don't know what Glam bag is, well let me explain... its a monthly subscription service that provides 4 to 5 full size or large sample size beauty products...They range from prices and products and its a great way to try new products without blowing all your money! It cost $10 a month... They just started in Dec 2011 so I have received 3 bags so far...all amazing...so i will talk about this months in a clockwise motion!

Hey yall! So spring is finally in the air and I received a huge order from 599fashion.com and so I had to wear a dress ASAP! I loooove dresses :) So anywho the dress is navy blue with some ruffles on top...cant really tell in the pic..got for, of course $5.99...the sweater is aeropostale that I got from a garage sale for a quarter! The shoes are typical ked types from Target...braids pulled back in a braid and secured with a blue bow...i have diamond earrings, a swallow necklace, and headphone rings.... too cute (or at least i think so hehe)xoxo whit

MY BIRTHDAY!!
OK well my birthday isn't until March 11th but my daddy is going to be gone on my birthday so we just had dinner at my parents to celebrate. Every year since I was in college, I try to have some kind of fun or random party for my birthday with my friends.
19- strip club with friends...Escapades is appartently the only 21 and under strip club in Tulsa...it was disturbing to say the least
20-I can't remember what I did...I think I went dancing but maybe not...hmm it was before I was 21 and I did a little drinking back then sooo who knows lol
21- Party at the Hard Rock...I got a room and me and my girls got dressed up and partied it down...great memories!
22- Tacky Party! My friend, Cari, had it at her house and we all wore super tacky/skanky outfits...it was hilarious! We drank and playing wii and drinking games... (pics will be up soon when I'm at my home computer!)
Now for 23 I plan on going to Incrediable Pizza and playing like a kid :) and since me and my friends are slightly immature we all love it...If you don't know what Incrediable Pizza is then let me inform you! Its a HUGE pizza buffet that is like 50 themed but each party room has themes..then it has go karts, mini golf, arcade games, bowling, and a video roller coaster...so pretty much its paradise for the fun loving :) Then we might go play laser tag afterwards...haven't decided yet...winging it...probably go dancing at the ol caravan afterwards...don't wanna let my fans down ;)
but I wanted to show off my cake that my momma made me! So is so creative when it comes to stuff like this! I LOVED it!! I must admit I have a pretty special and amazing momma :) My dad's comment was "what is she 6?!" and my mom said, "Do you really have to ask that?" haha but why take life so serious!? I enjoy being fun loving and childish :)

RTOD- Models
Recently in my hometown and probably tons of other places, girls in the age range from 18-25 have been living in a world of delusion. And this delusion is called modeling.
So lets get some things straight....
1. If you are not getting paid to model for a company, then you're not a model
2. If you are not being signed by any agency to model, then you're not a model
3. If all the pictures are just you in front of a white screen staring ahead with lacy underwears on, then your not a model.
4. And finally, if your pictures are being taken pro bono by a single, 35 yr old man that still lives with his mom, then your not a model (porn star maybe, model no)
For some reason, less than pretty girls have it in their heads that they are sexy and deserve to model...and apparently these girls don't have any friends to tell them that maybe that it's their calling and stick to your day job. And what's even worse is most of them take these "modeling" pics in lingerie and then have the nerve to post them on Facebook...bet your momma is proud! And to get even worse some of these girls have boyfriends and the guys are like "dude check out my woman she is so sexy"...ok so if she is so sexy and all yours then why in the fuck are you allowing to whore herself up on a social site for all these guys to check out..Either these guys are complete idiots and don't realize that or these girls should realize that their guys don't truly care that much about you and probably only date you because you look good to their ego to date a "model"...or both and in small town usa that's completely possible.
You see modeling is an actual job, profession if you will, so that means you get paid cash money to model for a company of some sort. I can tell you that you seem to have herpes on your mouth but does not mean I am a medically licenced doctor able to give you the right result. I'm just a loud mouth trying to look smart and your a skank trying to convience people your hot..
Now as you can tell by my headlining picture that I have had my pictures taken recently...but let me explain...I think I'm pretty...gorgeous in fact...so I want pictures taken for myself...I had a friend that was wanting to get into the photography business take them so she could get practice...I'm not a model, just a beautiful citizen generous enough to share her beauty to the world :D

Confessions of a Makeup-holic!
So those who know me know of my addictions. It's better than most but still a real issue. Hello. my name is Whitney and I'm addicted to makeup! Now let me clarify, its not one of those things that I am addicted to having to WEAR the makeup all the time because lord knows I leave the house plenty either without makeup on or my makeup looking like a hot mess. I am addicted to purchasing and trying all makeup. I love a good bargain and I will try anything once (twice to make sure I didn't like it). So I have my makeup sites that I love to stalk to see new products and sales...majority of all of my makeup was bought from 2 places: ELF (eyeslipsface.com) or cherryculture.com. I have pretty much everything from ELF that you can purchase. I LOVE that site and their products. Everything is $1, $3 or $5 depending on the product lines. So of course I was sold right away!
But anyways I bought and refurnished a desk for a makeup vanity so last night I reorganized my makeup and storage so I decided to take pics and show my collection (my baby) to the world...I'm very proud to say I have enough for at least 4 teenage girls...you'll see!
Right is ELF $1 eyeshadow quads ( they are what started it all!) Left is homemade face primer and eye liner.
But anyways I bought and refurnished a desk for a makeup vanity so last night I reorganized my makeup and storage so I decided to take pics and show my collection (my baby) to the world...I'm very proud to say I have enough for at least 4 teenage girls...you'll see!

I bought this on Craigslist for $20 and paid about $30 in supplies

So for about $50 I was able to have a super cute, super girly makeup vanity!
(sorry about the pic quality, light in the corner washed it out slightly)
These are little mesh office bowls I guess you would call them. I keep them on the right corner. They hold all of my loose glitter and "MAC" pigments. I bought them from Ebay for .99 cents and yes I knew they were fake...I'm not dumb but they are amazingly beautiful and great quality so well worth it!
On the left corner I keep all of my brushes and my eyeliner pencils that I use daily.
Drawer #1- Foundation
I have a large collection of drug store and online foundations.( bottom right) Being so pale makes it hard to find a color to really fit my shade so I have to switch out frequently. Then I have my concealers and color correctors..same goes with finding a good color and coverage for my dark circles. (upper right) And lastly I have face primers and some loose face sponges.
Drawer #2- Face
Face powders (left) & blushes (right) These blue containers fit perfectly into the drawers and made it so much easier to organize.
Drawer #3- Lips
I have WAY too much lip stuff considering I use it maybe once a day then leave the house and never use it again. Bottom left is all lipsticks, right side is lip gloss tubes and upper left is lip liners and taller lip glosses and lip primer.
Drawer #4- Eyes
This drawer has backup eye liners,eye brow powders and gel, mascara, eye lasher curlers, pencil sharpeners and eye shadow primer.
Drawer #5- Bases
This is a variety of cream bases I use to make the eye shadow pop and stay during the day. On the right is bronzers and luminators.
Drawer #6 is not filled yet. Not sure what I want to do yet.
Before the desk I just use a 2 shelf bookshelf with decorative photoboxes that you can buy from Hobby Lobby or Gordmans. Now they hold all of my eyeshadows and over flow..
This is a dish holder that has slits to hold the palettes upright. In this pic there are approximately 12 palettes.
In this tub, I have all of the ELF palettes except for the 3 large ones. Probably about 17 palettes in here. All eyeshadow.

LA Colors. Bought them all from Cherry Culture. Very cheap but pretty great quality surprisingly.

Myspace...let's be real, it was WAY cooler than all the other social sites. We could decorate with a backgroud. I always changed my based on mood, holiday, or just a change. we could have cute little bumper stickers for whatever we wanted it to say...once i went to college they all turned into some kind of alcohol theme...then fell in love and they were then romantic...then fell out of love and hated the world and i expressed it thru angry or self respecting GIF pics. And then not to mention the music player! Another great express of one's life. It allowed me to say so much about myself without having to post pathetic statuses all the time. (not that i ever did that.ha.. ha..ha...) oh and cant forget top friends! Uhh listen, your number 3 on my list so i better be at the same level or higher or your being moved down on my list! Immaturity at its best folks!

Random thought of the day!
I think I will be starting a new series called "Random Thought of the Day". Basically for everyone that knows me, they know my mind is like a 3 year old with ADD on 6 pixi sticks, 2 Mountain Dews and a choclate cake ( basically all over the place...) with a perv twist...yes i am quite immature...don't you judge me...well ok you can because im cool like... anywho, I have life changing thoughts and wonders about the world around me so I thought"Why not write about it on my blog so others can either laugh because they think the same thing or can think I'm a freak" either way its entertaining, right?!
so here we go...whats with ankle boots with peep toes? come on ladies do you not understand the concept of a boot??

Outfit of the Day (OOTD)
So I felt like I should share this incrediably amazing outfit...well maybe its not that great but let me tell ya its freakin comfy! :) And on a rainy Wednesday thats pretty much all I want! The shirt is a great buy from 599fashion.com. Its super soft and flowly and feels like your wearing an oversized sleep shirt but it has the beautiful lace heart and rhinestones that help dress it up...plus the mesh on top and the fit gives it quite the 80's feel....I will say when I ordered it I thought it had lace on top (i LOVE lace!!) but it more has a mesh-y feel, kinda like a fishing net lol but thats fine with me :) I just wore black leggings and my Robin Hood boots and pulled my messy hair into a side pony with just a natural looking makeup. Just one flashy ring, black bracelet, and angel wing earrings finish the outfit off...

Love me or hate me...
Let's take a trip back to when things were awesome and we were way cooler than the rest, still cruisen main street, & tasting beer for the first time.. that's right I'm talking about 2007..senior year...the year we all thought we were hotter than the rest, 18 and complete hardasses...haha don't act like you were above it. Everyone thought that they were the shit..you'll see what I mean later :)
But anyways in 07 a song came out that I (and every other high school girl that I hung out with) LOVED...it was "Love me or hate me" by Lady Sovereign. We cranked it up and sang it loud and proudly like we had something to prove!
And like the kick ass song says "Love me or hate me, still an obsession. Love me or hate that is the questions?" Haters gonna hate & they hate for good reason. You're doing something right if you have fans, good or bad. It's how you handle what they throw at you that determines who you are. Sadly and shamefully, I didn't handle recent events in a way that would make me proud. But that was then, this is now. I know how I would handle the situations if I had the chance again... so if any of you are going through a drama or harassment, remember it's easier to fall to their level than to raise above it, but no one gets anywhere in life by taking the low road... It is extremely easy to get wrapped up in the drama of the "he said, she said" but at the end of the day, trust me you will regret it... it's like a drug or shot of whiskey. The highs are short lived and the lows are destructive to you and all those around you...
Remember to NEVER let someone else define you! [& that goes for friends, family, bfs/gfs, bosses, bullies, whoever!] The older I get the more I find myself and who I wanna be and thankfully I have had some amazing (and not so amazing) people in my life to help me get to that point. I am unique in every sense and i love it. You can try to be me but you will fail miserably. And quite frankly why would you wanna be me?? You are you and you're amazing enough!

You're doing something right if you have fans, good or bad. It's how you handle what they throw at you that determines who you are. Sadly and shamefully, I didn't handle recent events in a way that would make me proud. But that was then, this is now. I know how I would handle the situations if I had the chance again... so if any of you are going through a drama or harassment, remember it's easier to fall to their level than to raise above it, but no one gets anywhere in life by taking the low road... It is extremely easy to get wrapped up in the drama of the "he said, she said" but at the end of the day, trust me you will regret it... it's like a drug or shot of whiskey. The highs are short lived and the lows are destructive to you and all those around you...
Remember to NEVER let someone else define you! [& that goes for friends, family, bfs/gfs, bosses, bullies, whoever!] The older I get the more I find myself and who I wanna be and thankfully I have had some amazing (and not so amazing) people in my life to help me get to that point. I am unique in every sense and i love it. You can try to be me but you will fail miserably. And quite frankly why would you wanna be me?? You are you and you're amazing enough!

Too good to keep to myself!

New license pic!
Ok so i had to do the most dreaded thing in a girls life...get a new license pic!!! its horrible and stressful! will my hair look right?? makeup show up?? smile and look normal?!? Brandon was like "Why are you so worried about your license?"...ugh men! If I am going to have to be stuck with one pic for 4 years it better be a good one!
My permit/first license pic was horribly embarrassing and was always made fun of by the boys in ag and so when I got my second one in 2008 I by golly made sure it wasn't as embarrassing! I was sick as a dog that week but I had to take it before going back to college so I got up and put makeup on and I thought it turned out pretty well... well now that its been 4 years I can honestly say i look NOTHING like i did back then! I have def matured and learned about makeup and what not :) lol I took my new pic this morning and i LOVE it!! im soo thrilled! so i will post you a comparison just so you understand my excitement... Aphogee Hair Treatment
So I seen a youtube video awhile back and a woman talked about Aphogee protein treatment and how it is a miracle cure for straw, damanged, bleached hair (aka me!) I finally tried it last night and I'm not so sure. I bought a 2 pack treatment from Sally's for around 2.99 or so. The first part is a serum type product that stinks horribly. You coat your hair and then blow dry it until it is hard and crunchy, then wash it out and use the second part to make it soft and managable.
This morning my hair was kinda greasy looking and didn't seem that much softer or healthier but as we all know the morning after a big treatment it can be like that so tonight will be the test if there is a difference....wish me luck!

My hair seemed to be a little stronger but not a huge difference...i cut my ends off (i cut my own hair) so that made a difference. I have noticed that some of the fuzziness is gone from my baby hairs but for the most part didn't see much of a difference at all. Quite disappointing! If yall try it out let me know your results!

Facebook...Please read all the way thru!
OK so root of all evil may be a little extreme but there are some major issues with FB that I don't think our (my) generation realizes. This past weekend I decided to delete my FB in my own version of detox...crazy right?! And until just a second ago I have only told my parents, 2 friends and my bf...i did decide to send a text to ppl I care about so they would be able to see this and know i didn't forget about them or block them haha...So in this post I'm just going to list a few issues, comments, and concerns I have with FB and then get into why I deleted mine (temporarily)...
1. This is probably the #1 reason we all have a fb...stalking! We stalk our friends, exs, family, current loves, enemies, celebrities, random strangers and their cats...it's all so crazy and obsessive. The way I view it now is; if I am not important enough for them to stalk me, then they are not important enough for me to stalk. Why should I idolize you in some creepy way by knowing your every move & thought if you don't even realize we are friends on fb?? I can guarantee you that not a soul even noticed that i deleted my fb (that's how important I was to them!) And let me get one thing straight, this isn't a "poor pity me, no one likes me post"...just stating a sad reality that I don't think 99% of us realize. All the people that feel its life or death to inform people that they are at Walmart or going to bed or ate a steak, I hate to break it to you but no one cares! And if they did you would be texting them about it not fb...Now realize probably every person on fb has at least 1 to 2 ppl that stalk them religiously for their own reasons (laughter, jealousy, love, hate,drama) so those people may realize i am gone but of course they aren't goin to say anything bc then that would mean they specifically searched for me...and as us good creeps know that is the worst thing that could happen haha
Still not convinced? Check this out then...I found a random girl on fb from outta town(wouldnt know the girl if she punched me in the face) and from just her fb I can tell you all this info about her: full name, phone number, car she drives, address, where she works, when and where she is through out the day, bf's name, email address, family members, tons of photos of inside her house and what she looks like, where she went to school and other random facts...thats a helluva lot of info that a stranger can find out! I don't even like giving guys at the bar my real name & number and they don't even know any of that stuff about me!!!
2. The #2 reason ppl have fb would be close to a tie with #1 and that would be (drum roll please) JEALOUSY! We have them because of it and to create it... girls especially! We have this obsession to update about our new bf & how cute he is, where we went out to eat, how sweet he is...we take 40,000 pics together, write on each others walls so in hopes my ex sees it, his ex sees it, and all of the women in the world see how lucky I am and so i can rub it in their face...how sad is that? Yes, it is human nature to want to have people envy us but really who are we impressing?? Other ppl could careless about who your dating, what your kid is doing and what your doing at that moment...unless it has drama and we can all gossip about what you meant by something or if your single again...big deal...if anything we use it to make funny of other ppl bc of what they will post (pathetic, right?!) But I can bet EVERY single person reading this has done this at some point or another...myself included...
3. I deleted mine bc I want my life back!!!!!!! Ever since smart phones and apps and constant connections became available we don't life in the "real world". I know, I know I sound like our parents but if you tried it you would understand...I now have time and the focus to read a book, play with my puppies, enjoy the people that I'm with, when I'm with them...&& the best part when talking with friends I only have stories about my life to talk about...not random people I added to be nosey... I miss the days of middle school when the weekends started and I couldn't wait to come home and hangout with my parents(nerd) and watch TGIF on ABC channel and saturday morning cartoons...those were the days! i have no clue what my pathetic enemies are doing bc I took myself out of the equation (very adult of me! hehe)...In reality I had around 350 friends and out of those I actually have relationships with about 5! and most everyone I have on fb I would avoid if I ran into them at walmart or wouldn't have a thing to say to them...And all of you with 1200 friends...your not fooling anyone, in fact your probably worse off bc you need some kind of ego boost thinking that all these ppl care about you and like you...i hate to break the bad news to ya...but they don't
4. Now on to the actual truth of why I did it (this is really hard to write about)...3 of my super close friends know the whole story and how emotionally affected I have been by past events in the last few months and for my personal health I have done this bc I need to re-evaluate things and find myself again (corny i know)...I'm not going to explain what happened bc im not going down that road anymore...i would like to think that ppl like my Momma, Brandon, Des, Haylee and Tanya know that the person I have been lately isn't the true me...and it makes me super sad that I have been that way...but extremely happy to know I am healing :) I am an extremely strong, happy, and smart girl and I will NOT be bullied around by pathetic low lifes anymore....I will never know probably why they choose to do that to me but I would like to think the guilt has been enough punishment...i have my flaws but I'm a pretty great friend and there's not a damn thing I wouldn't do for the people i love...I'm sorry to whoever did this & that you felt it was necessary to display such immaturity and insecurity...also, I know who it was...I found out my answer not too long ago...i haven't told a soul so your evil ways are our little secret...your welcome && well played darling
There have been many obstacles I had to climb to get to this point but I'm very happy that I did...like the great Britney Spears sang "I'm stronger than yesterday!" :) I know that the people I love and that love me are proud too...people only wanna bring you down because you're doing something right! :)

Friday, Friday, Gettin down on Friday!
Hey yall! Hope everyone is having a great Friday! Last night I spent my evening until 11 at the ER in Tulsa with my uncle. At first they thought he had a silent heart attack but now they aren't so sure... I always find it interesting to sit in a hospital and look at everyone, drs and nurses included. I have to wonder where people got the idea that drs were handsome and smart like in shows like Grey's but these drs were farrr from tv drs lol...The ER dr that came in had a lisp and I felt like I was living in a real life SNL skit! Poor guy. But it got worse once he was settled into ICU and that dr came to speak with him...i'm not even joking this guy had NO personality...My uncle had his leg removed in 2009 and so the dr asked "Have you had an surgeries?" Being the hilarious person that I am I answered "Well no"...the dr said Ok and started writing it down..really?! Then he proceeded to ask "Do you have a will and testment" My uncle says,"NO, but looks like I'm fixing to make one soon"...kid you not, the dr says "Well not right now you won't unless you have a lawyer present in here, I'm not a lawyer"...wow...really?! people these days lol It was all I could do to not slap him silly or laugh in his face....
Yesterday I did receive my Mizoutlet.com order and Cherry Culture order...YAY!! I will be making a Youtube haul about the products....there are some AWESOME stuff in there..eekk!! :)
Currently I'm jamming to random stations on Pandora. They include: Band Perry, Britney Spears, Randy Rogers, Gary Allan, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Justin Moore and Casey Donahew...Its the perfect mixture of happy :)

Hair Miracle??
Hello darlings! So I was lookin thru youtube and came across a video that had a hair treatment that I couldn't believe ( well i could but still...). This woman used Monistat (yes the feminine cream) for her scalp to get rid of the fungus that lives on scalp...yuck you may say but there really is a good scientific reason for it! Basically it goes like this...we all have some sort of fungi living on our skin and scalp (that's what dandruff is!). So the science of it is, treat the fungus, get a healthy scalp, grow hair faster! When you put it in those terms, it makes sense but still vaginal cream on your head?? Monistat's main ingredient is 2% Miconazole Nitrate...basically an antifungal. If your still not sold on the idea then you should see the results! She did a test for 8 days using a diluted version and she was able to get a 1/4 inch growth! Pretty amazing huh??
I've never bought Monistat so I am not sure the cost but I heard it can be expensive so you can use just typical 2% Miconazole Nitrate that is in like the sports or feet health area. I believe I got a tube at the dollar store so can't beat that!
Here's what you do!!
1. Decide if you want to dilute or use straight out of a tube. Personally, I diluted mine to get more out of my product and because some side effects of straight use can include: sore to the touch, redness, headaches, and burning (uhh no thanks!). If you dilute, I took about an inch long squeeze from the tube and mixed with about 3 TBSP of warm water and put it in a travel squeeze bottle. (this will be enough for about 5-7 applications!) Shake it together. And your ready to start!
2. Part your hair down the middle and use the squeeze bottle down on your scalp and rub in. You do not have to use a whole lot and remember its for the scalp, not your hair. Keep making parts about 1/2 inch apart because it is watery and will spread out easily.
3. Then let dry and you're ready to go!
FYI... No it doesn't make your head smell, No it doesn't make it greasy, Yes you will have less shedding because the medicine holds the hair in place to heal it. Once you stop completely all of the hair you would have normally shedded will fall out..no biggie tho!
I started this on Monday 2/13/2012 and I have diluted mine and I will use it daily. My hair is about collar bone length so I am excited to see if this helps with my growth! If you have any questions please let me know! I will update on here my process!

Happy Valentine's Day!
hey yall! so I know that I created this like forever ago and then my lazy butt never did anything about it but now I am! I hope love is in the air for everyone...except my enemies then I hope your sitting at home...alone...wishing you were a nice person so people would like you...haha jk (sorta)
Just an update with my life...I got 2 new puppies, Bo and Duke, ( and yes I am aware of the Dukes of Hazard reference!) I am still in love with my job! I am a very lucky girl! I am about halfway thru my first semester of grad school and oh yeah, its going to be the death of me! I have also been spending a lot of time online shopping! :/ and that will be the death of my bank account! But I did find some awesome websites that I want to share!
1. Mizoutlet.com....this is a jewelry website that has a TON of costume jewelry that starts out from $1 to around $1.99 or so. I have made approximately 4 orders from them and I have been pleased with it every time! They also have cosmetics, hair stuff, and other knick knacks but I was in the main hunt for jewelry when I stumbled across them.
2. 599fashion.com....this is a clothing store that has everything for $5.99 or less!!!! I know, unbelievable right?!? Well think again! Now in fairness I haven't actually received my order yet but I seen some reviews on youtube and tons of people say the clothing is very similar to Forever 21 and Charolette Russe. so I'm thrilled about that! And if you know me you know I'm a tight wad and LOVE a great bargain!
Well I promise to try and make an effort to keep this thing updated because I have many things that I would love to rant and rave about! Enjoy!
